Toni Yli-Suvanto’s experience at ETH in Switzerland and his long working and collaborating relationship with the offices of David Chipperfield Architects has had great influence on the origins of the practice, on its design approach, the strategy of developing spatial organisations, the relationship between the interiors and the exteriors, development of the materiality concepts, and the relationship of the design solutions with its context.
